Cato Manor Heritage Centre - Durban

Situated within 10 kilometers from the centre of Durban, Cato Manor Heritage Centre captures the story of a volatile region during Apartheid. Immense photographic prints adorn the walls, with striking photography of dissent, unrest and despair. The Centre also gives a sense of the humanity, the everyday liveliness that Cato Manor once encompassed. Today, Cato Manor is one of the nodes included in the KwaZulu - Natal Freedom Route. The Centre is supported by other facilities including a modern conference centre which caters for up to 50 people at very reasonable rates. Prefential prices are applicable to community based business and not-for-profit organisations. On request, the conference centre is able to arrange snacks and meals, plus traditional local artists to bring you the flavour of the area.
