Kwazulu-natal Poultry Institute - Pietermaritzburg

The KwaZulu-Natal Poultry Institute and the Institute’s Poultry Management Training Centre are situated in the rural setting of Pietermaritzburg Bisley Valley, 8 kilometers south east of the city centre. Constituted in 1992 with the wholehearted support of the industry, the KwaZulu-Natal Poultry Institute is an Association-not-for-Gain for the benefit and advancement of poultry production in South Africa. Africa’s ever-increasing demand for affordable animal protein, and the conviction that poultry provides this efficiently and effectively, led to the establishment in 1992 of an organization that would address problems specifically associated with poultry production in Southern Africa.
