By early 2004, as the ACC’s had become more established the need for wider and more inclusive community activities become apparent. This included the development and implementation of projects (click here to go to programmes) which promote healthy lifestyles, youth leadership, elderly citizens programmes and early childhood activities as well as the promotion of youth with disabilities in sport and physical activities. Training is a critical part of all these programmes. Objective Imvomvo aims to: facilitate and assist community development by establishing sustainable Active Community Clubs; and promote healthy lifestyles through physical and social activities. children and youth to participate in regular quality activities which are sustained with the available resources. Board Members A highly qualified board of directors leads the organisation. It is made up of individuals who are involved in business as well as representatives from communities and sports development. All the representatives have a vested interest in the vision of the organisation and the success of the projects which are delivered by Imvomvo.
