PROFESSIONAL TRAINING STUDIO

Like the AK-47, the kettlebells were used by the USSR military and law enforcement. It is without equal and stands alone as the single best piece of gym equipment money can buy. In 1985 the Ministry of Defence for Russia declared kettlebell training to be "one, of the most effective means of strength development" representing "a new era in the development of human strength potential" The Professional Training Studio has been the home of the kettlebell in South Africa since 2002. Former South African Police officer Lt. Colonel Albie Wentzel learned the art of kettlebells from USSR military Special Forces trainer Pavel Tsatsouline and brought the military sport of kettlebell lifting back to South Africa in 2002. With the help of Albie Wentzel and the kettlebells, The Professional Training Studio became the first gym in Africa to offer group classes to the general public.
