SLANGHOEK MOUNTAIN RESORT

Description: View the valley by horse riding, mountain biking or hiking. Enjoy the beauty of nature on a hiking route from our dam to a waterfall against the mountains. Use your own mountain bike to explore the farm and the Slanghoek Valley. On the resort we have a putt - putt course inbetween the fynbos. In harvesting season you can try your hand grape picking. We have eight chalets situated under the century old oak tree forest. Seven of them have an inside braai with black pot as a bonus for cold winter nights. The chalets also have selected DSTV channels. We have a permanent tented camp with 13 self catering safari tents each with ensuite shower and toilet. There are 14 campsites situated between the vineyards on the banks of the slanghoek stream. They are equipped with toilets and

Throughout the year you can indulge in wine tasting as we have 3 cellars in the valley where the best wines can be tested and purchased at the lowest prices. We also have 3 restaurants within a 8km radius from us. The Worcester golf club is nearby. Some other places worth a visit is the Karoo National Botanical Garden, KWV Brandy Cellar and the Kleinplasie open air museum.
