Reviews of GORGE LODGE - Nelspruit

We stayed at Gorge Lodge for business from 2 – 4 July and just so that you are aware, it was shocking!!!

We were detained against our will due to a balance payable and when I say detained, we were barricaded in and could not leave. This matter was brought to the attention of the booking agent that made the booking but to no avail. I even contacted the local police in Nelspruit and they informed me that they would not help us as we owed the institution money and refused to pay.

Let me categorically state that we never refused to pay, we wanted the correct amount to pay and the owner refused to give it to us. The owner, Lorraine Matsane never acknowledged our changes made per e-mail and refused to correct the invoice. The only way we could get out was to pay the full amount, which amount to theft!!!
