Overland Power Fencing was established in 1993 just before the transformation of government in South Africa and commenced operations in 1994. The two owners Barney and Martin van der Merwe (brothers) of the company with prior fencing experience decided to establish a company that would provide effective and superior electric fencing solutions using Gallagher Power Fencing Systems in rural, urban, agricultural and wildlife markets.
