MAMELODI THEATRE ORGANIZATION - Pretoria

The artistic director Junior Makhoere as the brain child for the success of the organization activities that started as a early as 1986. The organization promotes arts and nature talents while coordinating and organizing this activities on Local and International platform. Activities: MATO offer training in African Arts Culture and Heritage. Promotes and run workshops for both youth, community groups and engage them in festival like Malopo Annual National Culture Festival. Touring: MATO has produced a number of local and international productions that toured the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre where numerous awards were awarded. Awards MATO’s do African Contemporary dance, Theatre in Education
