Situated in the Southwell district with its rolling hills and beautiful, deep valleys, Wolfs Crag has been in the Elliott family since 1944. Game was introduced onto the farm about 25 years ago. Close to the coast, 15 miles from Port Alfred and 22 miles from Grahamstown, Wolfs Crag enjoys good rains which fall mainly in summer. Temperatures during the hunting season are mild, ranging from a minimum of 7°C (44.60 Fahrenheit) to a maximum of 25°C (77.00 Fahrenheit). The Eastern Cape is a true nature-lover's paradise, from the lush Tsitsikamma forests to the rugged splendour of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, the southern slopes of the mighty Drakensberg and the wide-open spaces of the arid Great Karoo.
