"I travel throughout South Africa to gather information for my subject matter which are landscapes. Landscapes that I call “Landscapes with feeling”.Free and loose brush stroke in my paintings represent the core of what I wish to convey in my art. I do not merely create pictures of real landscapes , the image of the landscapes are used to create with paint on canvas what “spontaneous freedom” and “spontaneous honesty” really means. Freedom and honesty to get closer to the “feeling”."
