Hands down the most surprising experience i've had in a very long time. I've been looking for someone that owes me a lot of money for over 2 years, and i've been through more attorneys, debt collectors and private investigators than I care to remember. They weren't all bad, but none of them succeeded in finding this chap. All I got was more bills for tracing fees and database searches. I wasn't expecting much when I contacted Intertel. I found that having a low expectation of businesses in this industry is a safe bet. What a pleasant surprise. Mike from Intertel asked me to send him all the info I had, including all the previous reports so that they would not end up duplicating work. A few hours later he called to say that they'd run a few searches on this chap's wife and had found where she currently works and had narrowed down his residence to Springbok. Mike advised that they could send someone to Springbok to follow the wife home and to do some surveillance on the house to possibly determine where this guy is working (if he is). Their guy got there yesterday afternoon but wasn't able to observe the wife leaving work. He apparently called the company with some story and they eventually have him her home number, which he traced to their address. Yes, I'm elated that they've found this so-and-so, and it was great work i'm sure, but what really impressed me is that when Intertel's guy missed the opportunity to follow the wife home, Mike got hold of me and let me know exactly what was happening, no excuses or stories, straight forward facts. He then said that they had contingency plans (e.g. they knew which school the kids went to) and he reassured me that if they didn't come right then Intertel would cover the cost of the trip to Springbok. Now that was what was so surprising to me. I paid the fee, happily, and probably would have paid it even if they weren't successful because they really did try like it was their own money they were trying to get back. Thank you Mike and thank you Bruce for the excellent service. I've given your details to my attorney. I'm sure they'll make use of your services.

I lost a phone last month in a robbery and that phone was brand new and still on contract. I contacted Intertel to see if they can find it, and they told me its best to wait for a while until the phone is being used by someone. I phones them on Friday morning to see if there is enough time gone for us to start tracing it. I made the payment into their account and didn't expected to get news until next week, but i just had a call from the police detective I reported the case to and he told me that intertel had located the phone and that he has recovered it for me but I can't get it yet because it is evidence but i'll get it back soon. I'm so very happy that this service existed because I am still paying that phone off and can't afford another one like it. This is the best news I've had in a long time ago, like another Christmas. Thanks to Intertel.

Hi Louis. Thank you for this wonderful review. We were just as excited as you when we first heard that the police had recovered your phone - not only because we knew how much it meant to you, but because we only ever recover a small fraction of the stolen/lost phones that we locate. We were lucky that it hadn't moved far away or had its IMEI number changed. I hope you took our advice and installed anti-theft software on it so that if you ever lose the phone again you'll be able to quickly track and locate it yourself. All the best Louis. Take care.
