Apex 11 - Bantry Bay

HISTORY

Company Apex 11 is founded in 1991. We are situated on 8 ha (of which 6 ha are built). In company works 50 people. We have our own lunch place for worker’s.

Initially, the company's activity was:
- repair, service and recycling of forklifts type Balcancar
- trading with spare parts for forklifts. The main market was and still is Russia and former Soviet republics.
- Trading with material handling equipment and pallet racks – we import form China

In 2004 we design our own model counterbalanced forklift, Series A, in the capacity range from 2,5t to 8 tons capacity. During 2005 we produced 15 pcs for Bulgaria and Russia. Actually we are Maximal and DOOSAN distributor for Bulgaria.

In 2005 our company was chosen by HYUNDAI WELDING as official and exclusive

dealer of their welding consumables. It becomes a very successful partnership for both sides. And also we are very good friends. For our production we use HYUNDAI WELDING.

In 2006 we start with the four-way forklift truck A-Lift. Our first model was A4W40.60 – 4 tons capacity, 6 m lifting height.
After a year trial and develop the company started a regular production of A-Lift 4 and 5 tons Diesel. The market was Russia on the base of our long time partnership.
In 2008 we develop 6 tons capacity truck and in 2009 – 8 and 10 tons capacity.

From the beginning of last year we start promote A-lift outside Russia and Bulgaria. The bigger interest was form UK/MH trade/, FRANCE, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, SWITZERLAND.

Actually our production capacity is 50 A-lift per year. / 4 trucks per month – 4, 5 tons capacity and 2 trucks per month 6, 8, 10 tons capacity/.

In 2008 the company was approved by the European Commission for funding for two programs related to technological innovation and modernization of machinery.
We purchased some machines and other investments for about 80 thousand EUR
At the same time in the company had introduced systems for:
- Quality Management ISO 9001:2008
- Environmental Management ISO 14001:2004
- Health and Safety at Work ISO 18001:2007,
where the company holds certificates.

From 2010 tear we are in a Autoservice equipment branch.
