Chihwa Tours- Chihwa Bus - Bellville

I travelled when the service from Cape Town to Harare was full, however the cashiers were very understanding and booked me. High five to Mr. Mutambara and Mr. Shoko who handled our travel plan with great consideration as they managed to switch me to another bus at the border bus and l managed to arrive for my interview on time. Apart from that l left my 83kg of luggage and l found every single bag.If we happen to meet again l owe the mentioned drivers lunch. Thank Mr. SHOKO THANK YOU MR. MUTAMBARA

The drivers and other staff are so corrupt, they have i don't care attitude towards customers.

I'm travelling to Harare as I'm writing this review. Sitting on an uncomfortable seat and the bus is so dirty and smelly I'm so much disappointed, I really wasnt expecting this. I mean it's my first time using this bus and I've made a biggest mistake of my life. Where on earth could yu find a long distance bus that has broken window seals and they use celltape to seal it? It's just so unprofessional! And it simply shows that you really don't care about customers who are totravelling using the bus, all you care about is our money. I wonder if the owner checks the bus and see if it's well cleaned and maintained before loading pple in it! Well as a first time user, I guarantee that that's my first and last time using this crap chicken bus!!

Have been a Chihwa customer for many years but of late their service has become disappointing...got the best team of drivers to mention a few Moyo Mleya Bhoramberi... But the time table for the bus and passenger bookings is pathetic I don't know if the people who sale tickets don't know how to count its soo inconviniencing if you buy tickets being reassured you will leave on a certain date only to be left at the station coz the bus for that day is full when you wait for the following day's bus still not to be allocated a sit coz the bus is full... Honestly this is the only downfall the company is going to have coz you have become unreliable... Iam very disappointed and when you phone the office people for explanations no one can give you a solid explanation.. Please Chihwa tours sort out your office... If selling tickets at compu ticket messes up your way of keeping track of how many clients you have then please don't do it

After losing my housekeepers luggage on 19/12/17 ( she has the luggage slip) when we called the number given the man I dealt with refused to give his name ( said I could call him Mr Manager), told me you win some and you lose some and that there was nothing the company could do about losing someone’s luggage....... it was given in good faith to the company, a luggage receipt was issued but when the luggage is lost it is just” tough luck” .....what a way to treat your customers ........ I would not recommend using the bus company unless you want to get no help when they “lose” your precious luggage

What a disappointing service.
Chihwa bus broke down at Sasol service station Messina at 7am on 12 August 2017.
Help from a Scania mechanic came at 5pm.
In the mean time Time biscuits and carbonated drinks were offered.
Repeated efforts to seek clarification and help from Mr Mapfumo the Cape Town based manager resulted in continued lies and lack of help.
As I write this it is 00:56 hours of 13 August 2017,
children are sleeping outside in the raw cold weather as are women and men alike.
The promise of a bus is but that an unfulfilled promise.
It is soooo sad the company has failed to put the welfare of its clientele first.
To leave children,women and men to the mercies of the cold is unforgivable..

This is the worst bus I ever took... the chiwa bus was suppose to depart at 4:30 (cape town to jorburg) but at 6:30 I asked one of the staff in Belleville they informed me that the bus was taken for service... this is very inconvenient. I hope that this poor service will be sorted out...in my case I wont take the bus again...

IVE BEEN USING THIS BUS SINCE I CAME TO CAPETOWN, THANX TO YOUR HONEST AND FRIENDLY DRIVERS ESP THE ONE BY THE NAME MUTAMBARA UMMMM HE IS ALWAYS TRUE TO HIS WORD ALSO BIG THANX TO VALENTINE AND BHORA MBERI. YOU GUYS ARE EXCELLENT. RAMBAI MAKADARO GUYS YOU REALLY MAKE OUR TRAVELLING A WALK IN THE GARDEN.

07.05.2017...u send msgs saying the timetable has changed... U made us run around like headless chickens... Bt we end up waiting fr almost 3hrs... Tht was bad.. Am stil angry... Even now...

In the past we worked well with Chihwa tours and still have an excellent staff, only your lady at the counter who sells tickets she is very rude and has no way of talking, her PR skills are not fit for someone who has to deal with public.
We need Chihwa and Chihwa also needs us as customers.so please can you fix that area.disturbed traveller.

Excellent service and always on time but please if you have an overstay don't make a mistake or giving Driver Shoko to help you at the boarder, I saw people cry tears achitiza nemapassport ago,only giving us ours after three weeks iwe uchidiwa kubasa in two weeks. You will regret. The other drivers are fine
