Rey's is a REAL Gymnastics Club - registered with the Provincial Gymnastics Association and the SA Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) - (Affiliated with the Federation of International Gymnastics (FIG) which is based in Switzerland).
We specialize in mobile gymnastics for toddlers aged 3-5 years and also have 3 Halls with the bigger, no-longer-mobile apparatus for ages 6 and older. All toddlers receive their weekly lessons at their school where it is most convenient for all moms and dads :) For the older gymnasts, aged 6 and older, we have 3 Gymnastics halls (In Garsfontein, Lyttelton Manor and Oos Moot areas). There are different options available at the halls - 1 lesson per week OR 2 lessons per week, to suit every parent. It takes a lot of hard work to be able to learn all the tricks

A culture to humiliate children
Very disappointed in how they treat children. They have a culture to humiliate children to get what they want. It is a bunch of young people who takes out their frustrations on young children by humiliating and screaming on them.
This is not a place I will trust my child at again.
There are a lot of other safer options for your children.
I complained about this, and they did not even bother to come back.

Teleurgesteld
Dit is met groot teleurstelling dat ek hierdie verwysing moet skryf. My dogter was vir twee jaar n studen t van Rey's Gymnastics en selfs al was sy nie meer deel van die klub nie, het ek nooit geskroom om talle ouers daarheen te verwys nie, omdat ek die klub baie hoog geag het. Ongelukkig bleik dit om glad nie meer die geval te wees nie en sal ek nooit weer iemand daarheen verwys nie, inteendeel ek sal mense afraai. Hoe kan daar op 4 jarige kinders geskree word op 'n millitante wyse en op afbrekende wyse dat hulle n vrees ontwikkel om na die gimnastiek klas te gaan. En dan om alles te kroon wanneer die ouers dit onder die aandag van die bestuur bring word die volgende terugvoer gegee "Ek is moeg vir ma's wat kerm oor hulle kindertjies. Gaan rig jou eie kind af en kyk hoe ver kom jy" Dit is klein kindertjies wat nou net 'n paar maande gelede begin het en nog 'n liefde vir die sport ontwikkel. Wel dit is nou beslis by die deur uit. Ek dink dit is uiters swak, onprofesioneel en on van pas. Hier is 'n wenk. As jy nie met daardie klein kindertjies kan werk nie, maak jou toelatings ouderdom hoër.
