The wheels in the illustrious history of Bakers Transport began turning in the 1970’s, with the founder and current chairman, Mr AS Tayob, establishing the company under the name ‘Bakers’. In 1988 the relocation to our current headquarters in the industrial area of Mkondeni was made in order to accommodate the growth in both fleet and staff ­– a testament to the quality service and reliability offered by the expanding concern.
