Gen-health Medical Scheme - Johannesburg

Gen-health Medical Scheme has been offering its members excellent health cover since 1991. Initially known as Procure Benefit Fund, and later as Promed Medical Aid before being changed to Gen-health Medical Scheme in the year 2000, the scheme has a member base of more than 12 000 principle members. The Scheme Finance and Investment Department is responsible for the drafting and compliance of the investment policy, strategy, deployment and monitoring thereof. Scheme Finance also has a responsibility of managing the assets of the scheme, management of the scheme bank accounts, payment of accounts, generating accounting reports and among others; ensuring the procurement of goods and services in line with the scheme’s procurement policy.
