CITYVARSITY - Johannesburg

The original CityVarsity campus was opened in Cape Town in 1996 and has been a highly respected provider of full time media and creative arts study programs ever since. In 2009 the Park Road campus was opened to accommodate the increased number of students in Cape Town. Nestled rather conveniently between the Kloof Street and Park Road campuses is the famous Long Kloof Studios, which is home to eTV, Clockwork Zoo and many more media, design, animation and music studios, as a result, a walk through the passages of Long Kloof often feels like a CityVarsity reunion with many graduates reaping the benefit of having studied so close to one of Cape Town’s primary employers of media and creative arts professionals. The coastlines to the west and east boast the world’s most spectacular beaches, while the granite cliffs overlooking the awe-inspiring bays and mountains of the Cape Peninsula have been the backdrop for innumerable photographic, film, television and commercial shoots.
