Planning is a vital part of this team effort, recognizing that planning, no matter how detailed or how strategic, will never be effective unless it is also integrated. We have a three pronged approach to event planning, firstly defining the objectives of the event, then the logistical and project needs implicit to the event and finally drafting a project management plan. The initial planning stage will include research and measurement evaluations against objectives as well as the strategic marketing, promotional and business elements. The second stage is based on a client and partner needs analysis and takes into account creative conceptualization, site surveys, risk management surveys, inventory preparation, procurement needs, health and safety planning, emergency services, major incident planning, disaster management and overall event plan. The result of this client and partner needs analysis is a formal project management plan, inclusive of budget preparation (note this subject to a post event final audit) and a critical path project plan for the event delivery.
